The Shelter for Women & Children provides
safe, clean, temporary shelter for women with and without
children in Henderson and the surrounding area.
We pride ourselves on taking a “teaching”
approach to helping our residents.
We offer classes in: 
- Parenting
- Employability
- Morals & Values
- Domestic Violence
- Nutrition Education
- Tutoring
In addition to our classes, we offer extensive casework and
assistance with budgeting, childcare, counseling services, and
educational opportunities.
The needs of our community inspire us
to move forward to continue our mission to help those less
fortunate. SWC has become a beacon of hope in our community. |
